On 1st April 2016, St Winifred’s Catholic Nursery and Infant school joined St Winifred’s Catholic Junior School.
Both schools closed and on the same day they reopened as one amalgamated new school named St Winifred’s Catholic Primary School.
We are delighted to be one thriving school community on the same site.
We had our first Ofsted inspection as a new school on 10th and 11th October 2018 and we were judged ‘GOOD’ in all areas. This was a great achievement for our school community and is an excellent foundation from which to continue to grow and achieve the very best.
On the 15th and 16th May 2024 we were inspected again and we are delighted to still be judges as 'good'.
